Every year, Euromonitor--a market research firm--releases its top 100 cities it views as the best cities in the world to visit. Your job is to guess them all!
I know this quiz has sources but it looks like whoever made the rankings from these sources just named cities from one continent and the other etc. How is the only afican city on the list on 100th place and how is the greyest and most dull city on earth, Brussels so high and cities like Warsaw, Krakow or Valencia lower than this
I totally agree. I think the bias of a Western company publishing this data also played into why certain areas (that would be far more deserving of the ranking) were snubbed.
That would make sense tbh... it would make sense why smaller towns most people have never heard of (Marne-la-Vallee, for example) were ranked in lieu of larger, more culturally significant ones...
Marne-la-Vallee is just a small town that happens to be where Disneyland Paris is.
Mecca is only accessible to people of the Muslim faith.
Punta Cana is basically just a bunch of resorts.
Saying that though, it is a decent quiz with relevant sources.
