I see where you're coming from but, quote, "The runs are awarded because the ball is considered to be in play until it crosses the boundary line, making it a score of four or six for the batting side."
For Q2 wouldn't they be byes or leg byes which are not credited to the batsman, so Johnny gets 0 runs?
For Q5 I assume you're using an ODI as the game, which would mean that at 39.1 overs there are 10.5 overs left and not at 49.1
