Your data concerning control of the Falkland Islands is inaccurate. The Spanish and British (who both laid claim to the islands) had abandoned their settlements prior to Argentina winning its independence in 1816. The German, Vernet, who ran the colony from 1829-1831, sought permission to do so from both the British and the Argentine governments. So it is not correct to refer to this period as one of Argentinian occupation.
