Sheltered by Cole Ness, Hill of Lee, Snelda Hill and Hill of Voxter

Could be considered to sound quite lazy. This is on the eastern side of the mainland, between two Voes.

A sailor would pass Linga and travel inland through this firth to land at Voe.

Its Ness is also the location of Hoo Field.

Just the Outer Holm separates this from The Vadills.

Shares its name with the settlement at its northern most end.

On the west side of Yell, this sounds like it could have been named after large sea mammals.
