I don't get it? Why would Honduras, Belize, El Salvador be transcontinental but not Nicaragua or Costa Rica? If you are considering central america as transcontinental then why only parts of it?

Kazakhstan is transcontinental between Europe and Asia since Western Kazakhstan is on the European side of the Ural River. This might help you:
