There are so many languages in the world, let alone indo-european languages. So, to keep things simple, this quiz only includes indo-european languages that are official languages of at least 1 country.
I believe certain language subgroups which are recognized as official languages should also count separately. After all, no country lists "Serbo-Croatian" or "Hindustani" as their official language
If counting such subgroups, we should include the following:
- Bosnian
- Castillian (subgroup of Spanish, official in Bolivia)
- Croatian
- Farsi
- Hindi
- Montenegrin
- Serbian
- Tajik
- Urdu
