The Big Mac Index is an informal way of measuring the purchasing power parity (PPP) between currencies. The fact that Switzerland tops this list means that a Big Mac costs more there than in any other country ($6.57). Interestingly, though, is that two Swiss cities are on the list of the six cities where the average worker has to work the shortest time to earn the amount of money a Big Mac costs.
