"oh, so cathlete wants me to name another synonym of going downwards (other than dropping or releasing something by one's own volition), but of the object's own. so falling does not require one to purposefully do it, unlike releasing, and sometmies dropping. it also lines up with hell! this must be the answer! this is such a great quiz cathlete! what amazing logistics!"
im not questioning ur motives, nor am i saying fell is the correct answer. i think it's a probable mistake ppl make and therefore should be an accepted type in
it was not dropped, not released, but it fell
vs it was not dropped, nor released, but it was held
No, not similar. The response needs to be in the same tense. Notice how you said "was ... dropped / released / held" but you don't use "was" with "fell"? That's because "fell" lacks the proper parallelism.
Should I also accept hold because "It was not dropped, nor release, but I did hold it"? No, that's ridiculous.

so at this point, you would say its something that does not travel by air, ie car or smth, and i would say superman or airship
Also, fell isn’t the same tense/verb form as dropped and released.
Also, if there’s confusion as to why fell didn’t work, go to the next one and get another clue telling you what letter you need to have.
it was not dropped, not released, but it fell
vs it was not dropped, nor released, but it was held
very similar, no?

one word off from same tense is similar imo
also in a right context that example sentence at the end is grammatically correct
