US presidents who appointed a chief justice

The chief justice is the head of the Supreme Court of the United States. Like the (currently 8) associate justices, the chief justice is appointed by the president with the "advice and consent" of the Senate. Justices serve for life, and consequently there has been only 17 chief justices since the first one in 1789. This in turn means most presidents have not been given the opportunity to appoint a chief justice. Can you name the president who appointed a chief justice?
