It’s a little sad going on the website and looking at the list of franchises, seeing these franchises at the top with so many characters just to head down the list to see so many solo representatives. So many possibilities that go unused.

It really bugs me that series aren’t represented with more than 1 fighter for some reason. Obviously we’re not going to have multiple Ice Climber or Duck Hunt characters, but Yoshi? F-Zero? Xenoblade? Pikmin? Wario (Ware and Land)? Splatoon? These deserve more representation in my opinion.

Yeah I wanted Shadow, Knuckles, Hades, Akuma and Waluigi in the game. It would have also been interesting to see Pauline in the game or Agent 3, 4 8 and Liquid Snake. They could've added other fighting game franchises like Melty Blood and Darkstalkers. Heck I even know of a somewhat famous mod where the put Elizabeth Bathory from the Fate anime series into the game, it's was made by DefinitiveEnd and is called Smash Bros Remix, which also add alot of the characters you mentioned

I'm going to wait until all of the DLC is released to update my Smash quizzes. It will be way simpler that way. :)

Wario's franchise is actually called Warioware Inc.

Yoshi's franchise is actually called Yoshi's Island
