You're missing the best speed up of all - typing Congo to fill in both DRC and Rep. of the Congo.

...then there are all the countries that allow you to type "st" for "Saint." Especially when combined with the fact that the Caribbean countries whose names have the form "<X> and <Y>" allow you to just type "<X>." Giving:

 • stlucia → Saint Lucia

 • stkitts → Saint Kitts and Nevis

 • stvincent → Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

 • antigua → Antigua and Barbuda

 • trinidad → Trinidad and Tobago
