Two colonies here did not have any counties yet. Rhode Island would get its two original counties in 1703 (Providence Plantations County and Rhode Island County).

New Hampshire would have to wait until as late as 1769 to get counties of its own.

Thanks! I like to experiment with the mapping a little to see what I personally think suits them, which is why I switched away from the default colour scheme a while back.
