David’s son who became king of Israel. He’s considered a wise and just leader, whose greatest accomplishment might be building the First Temple.

Primary figure of a book that is part of the Old Testament in many denominations. This man goes on a journey to recover his family’s lost wealth, receiving help from the angel Raphael along the way. Does not paint himself blue at any point.

King David committed adultery with this soldier’s wife, and she became pregnant. Not knowing what else to do to cover up the affair, King David sent this soldier to his death. Unrelated to the Dickensian Mr. Heep.

Persian King who married Esther and stopped a plot to annihilate his kingdom’s Jewish people.

Played a major role in defeating the Canaanite general Sisera. She invited the general into her tent to rest, but drove a spike into his head while he slept.
