Yup. If you’re 0 standard deviations from the mean then you’re in the 50th percentile since that’s, you know, the average! :)

But, for example, being within 1 standard deviation of the mean doesn't mean you're at the 68th percentile. The number 68 stands for the *difference* between the percentile of the highest score (84th percentile) and the percentile of the lowest score (16th percentile) that are within 1 standard deviation of the mean.

A normal random variable is within 1 standard deviation of the mean 68% of the time. A normal random variable is *not* within 0 standard deviations of the mean 50% of the time; it's within 0 standard deviations of the mean 0% of the time.

I think you might be looking at it the wrong way. A z-score of 0 indicates the sample falls in the exact mean of the data. A z-score of 1 means it falls above 68% of all other data, 2 means 95%, et cetera. You can think of the values as the percentile a sample falls in a data set with descending z-scores.

A few issues:

A number that is a perfect square of a perfect square of a perfect cube could be 1.

Maybe use least common multiple, not denominator. As it is, this sounds like it should be 1; 1 is the smallest number dividing 1 through 10.

This was a lot of fun! Some were too tough for me, but I could guess them.
