US states whose largest source of energy is renewable
Renewable energy technology is on the rise in the US. Can you name the states whose largest single source of in-state power generation comes from a non-fossil-fuel source?
Strictly speaking, nuclear energy is *nonrenewable*. Most of it is done through fission of uranium, which has come about from billions of years of geologic activity and can't be replaced*
HOWEVER, it is extremely clean & safe, with minimal greenhouse gas emissions.
*But.... a lot of the "nuclear fuel waste" can be recycled, since it retains ~95% of its energy! (This isn't done in the US though, not sure why)
