im ukrainian, and nobody has ever said that bear is Ukraines symbol. here the stork is the national animal

yeah....our national animal isn't a bear...we have a dozen animals that are "animals" of Ukraine, however, the bear isn't one of them. It is for Russia, and may have been in the Ukrainian SSR.
