Ottawa isn't nine letters long (green 3) but great quiz!

Castries is only 8 letters long. Green box. So St. Lucia doesn't work

I’m fairly sure “Washington, DC” has at least nine letters! Even if it were just “Washington”, that’s still 10!

I tried Cuba for the first yellow box but it didn't work. I'm pretty sure Havana and Cuba don't start with the same letters, and I think Washington DC is longer than nine letters.

Jamaica is 7 letters, not more than 7. The quizzes are more difficult if you give wrong clues.

There is too much ambiguity around the term 'American' countries. I have never heard of Jamaica and T&T as 'American' countries. They are Caribbean and, at a push, in the Americas, but that is a different thing. Latin America is also considered South America in the conventional sense, so Dominican Republic is a head-scratcher (yes they speak a Latin language but the terminology around this quiz needs to be tightened).

I think it's pretty fair to assume "American countries", at least on Jetpunk, means any country considered to be in North or South America

Agreed. I've also never limited Latin America to just South America because Central America and the Spanish-speaking Caribbean islands often come to mind when I hear the term.

Latin America typically means Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries. Mexicans are Latinos in practically every sense of the word, but Mexico is not in South America.

One of the questions is "more than 7 letters" Jamaica is EXACTLY seven letters, not more than seven, yet it still counts?

Mexico now fits for countries which have had female leaders.

Jamaica has played in the FIFA World Cup and is accepted for the two above green categories, shouldn't they be accepted for the third clue as well?
