Sorry to say thay the longest river on the Iberian peninsula is river Tajo or Tagus, as you prefer. River Ebro is a little shortest (1007 km vs. 910 km)

Yeah, perhaps 'longest in Iberia' was confused with 'longest river entirely within Spain'.

Oder is a legitimate answer for Frankfurt, surely?

At least 'Lea' is three letters so it's clear what Stratford the quiz is talking about.

Yes, Oder deserves to be a type-in at least!

I came to say this. I was sure that the way the question was asked, it was meant to be a small gimmick that both cities would work. While Frankfurt am Main is larger, both are commonly called by their name including their river to avoid confusion and since both satisfies an addition constraint (four letters) it should definitely count.

Scotland's deepest loch is actually Loch Morar.

I agree, Loch Morar is a fair bit deeper (310m). Loch Ness comes second (227m).

Lviv was a bit difficult for me, since I usually call this city Lemberg.

"Oder" also works for Frankfurt. That clue should probably just be changed.

It’s called “Nord-Ostsee-Kanal”, not “Kiel Canal”, and I live in that region.

As a German, I also couldn't figure this out and tried every possible abbreviation of Nord-Ostsee-Kanal. However, according to Wikipedia, “Kiel Canal” does indeed appear to be the official English term.

Frankfurt is also the name of another town in the state of Brandenburg, Frankfurt (an der Oder), which is on the Oder.

Actually "Frankfurt" is technically the one on the Oder as the other is "Frankfurt am Main"

"Oder" HAS to be accepted, mate.

An der Oder hand, there is little doubt which one is the Main Frankfurt.

Volgograd 1,020,000, Kaliningrad 490,000, Zelenograd 250,000, Dimitrovgrad 113,000, Svetlograd 35,000, Zernograd 24,000, Kirovgrad 19,000.

The clue is stretching it a little bit.

I'm sorry but Kiel is the name of the city, not the canal
