1811 was not a good year for VA governors

Nor was 1781; To be honest after having seen that happen in 1781, if I would be thinking of competing in elections in 1811 after two before me reached their terminal, I would definitely drop out. I guess that's a bit superstitious, but I think it would be foolhardy to ignore this deadly trend.
