Good quiz! I'm surprised you don't see North Carolina as a swing state.

Why may I ask do you think Ohio will be a swing state but Minnesota won't be?

I mostly agree but would expect Colorado and North Carolina to be here, too, and possibly Minnesota as well.

Yeah Minnesota was on the edge of a knife last election.

If going by the most recent polling data, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Indiana, Illinois, Mississippi, Kansas, Colorado, Alaska, Montana, NE-2, South Carolina, Missouri, and Texas are all more competitive this year than Maine. As are every other state you listed on the quiz.

Do you mean ME-2? Maine, like Nebraska, has some districts that vote apart from the rest of the state. That district does sometimes go Republican. But the rest of the state is pretty solidly Democratic.

Biggest surprise this year is how competitive Texas has become. In many polls they have Biden and Trump tied, and some even have Biden ahead.

All of these states are projected to be Democratic :)

Not a chance in hell. There is a tiny tiny tiny chance that either candidate gets all of these. Biden is not winning Ohio or Iowa by a long shot and Trump likely won't get close to winning Virginia.

Weirdly, Minnesota holds the longest streak of voting Democratic, since it voted for Richard Nixon in 1972.

It was the only state to avoid the 1984 republican landslide and in 1980.
