Very cool quiz. I am not using a nomination for it yet, but whenever the SVG becomes fully functional, I will make sure to do so. Nice job! Good luck with the SVG, practice makes perfect.

A few type-ins could use some work. It's weird that you only accept "metacarpal" and "metatarsal" for the entire hand/foot, and then color other bones, including carpals, tarsals, and phalanges. Accepting "rib" for "rib cage" would be nice, as would accepting "vertebrae" for "spine" and "malar (bones)" for "zygomatic"

Also, the names don't seem to show for me when I hover over the bones after finishing the quiz. Not sure why.

I think that "shoulder blade" can be accepted, since "blade" doesn't sound like "bone". But English isn't my mother tongue, so that's how it sounds for me.

Great quiz! I tried "temporal" and when it didn't work I thought I must generalize more so I tried "skull" which also didn't work. It didn't occur to me to try cranium :D

I gotta say, "dem bones" did not help at all!

Do you think you'll make a version of this that is a click quiz using the new Map Quiz 2 format?

Yes, will probably look to make that soon.

Great quiz but I agree with another comment that metacarpal and metatarsal is a bit strange since that's only one of three parts of your hand/foot. Wrist bones are called carpal bones and ankle bones are tarsal bones. Then come the metacarpals/metatarsals, and finally the phalanges (singular: phalanx).

Hip should be accepted for Pelvis.

no girl cause that's not the name of the bone. If we're being technical then pelvis isn't the name of the actual bones either...

to be honest I feel like this could be a lot more technical. If you're going to make a quiz of the bones of the human skeleton, especially when providing a diagram, then personally I'd go into a lot more detail. Not saying you need to go wild like naming each individual phalanx, but "pelvis" for example should be changed to the "os coxae" and naming the individual carpals and tarsals since they do have unique and distinct names. I'd name the individual skull bones as well. Let's get all 208 in!

Since this map is that detailed, you can also add incisors, canines, premolars, and molars.

Tried ilium for hip bones. Too specific I guess. Thought I put in zygomatic arch but must have spelled incorrectly. Also tried orbital but didn't work. I'm a little surprised that pelvic was the answer but not orbital. Both seem to describe regions of bones and not specific bones.
