See how many current world leaders you can name (updated at the end of each month).
According to Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_current_heads_of_state_and_government
Answers in italic indicate non-ceremonial heads of state with limited power, or de facto government leaders whose offices lack de jure constitutional power
Great quiz! I would recommend that if you are going to accept "Bibi" and "Scomo" as nicknames, that you also accept "BoJo" for Boris Johnson and "MBS" for "Mohammad Bin Salman".
Practically the only people I know that call him 'Scott Morrison' is the news reporters, and they only call him that half the time. Everyone else just uses 'scomo', except for Biden who uses 'that fella Down Under'
Just managed to get all 205, then within 5 minutes I've looked at the news to see that Sadyr Japarov is Kyrgyzstan's new Prime Minister... I think that keeping on top of this one is going to be an ongoing task!
I stopped looking after the second one I found and I was still only on the C countries,
1. Chile's newly elected president is Gabriel Boric
2. What's the source for the republic of the congo president being in power since 1997? I checked and couldn't find anything, current president came to power in 2019
I update the quiz around once a month. The president of the Republic of the Congo has been in power since 1997, it's the President of the DEMOCRATIC Republic of the Congo that's been in power since 2019.
Some countries have no presidents or the prime minister/head of government is more powerful than the president/head of state. Did you raise the question because only the Polish PM is included (since it seems you are from Poland)? I thought the Polish president is rather representative but maybe that's wrong.
I'm a HS senior on my last push in Extemporaneous Speaking, an event in Speech & Debate, and I've been taking this quiz daily as a way to memorize as many world leaders as I can for my last few tournaments. Thank you for this incredible quiz. 5 stars and nominated.
Leader of Finland is not prime minister. Leader of Finland is president. Sauli Niinistö at the moment. He leads foreign policy, is commander-in-chief of Defence forces, appoints and discharges ministers including prime minister, appoints several powers, signs and approves laws etc. You would make many (all) Finns angry by ignoring him. He is such a loved leader. We still have good prime minister too.
You should change Costa Rica's president to just Rodrigo Chaves with Chaves as a type-in. Robles is just his second or maternal surname, usually just the first or paternal surname is used in spanish.
You actually used it this way in the other latin american presidents.
Both Rosario Murillo of Nicaragua and Bidzina Ivanishvili of Georgia require that both first and last names be typed in order to count. Could you adjust it to just surnames, there's just so much to type.
Great quiz! I think you should accept "Obiang" as a type-in for Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo; his surname is Obiang, not Mbasogo, and he is referred to by that name on places like Wikipedia.
Had no clue who the Austrian chencellor was.

Also, should update for ROK president Yoon.
Great quiz, nominated!
New World Leaders:
Bosnia and Herzegovina (Chairwoman) - Zeljka Cvijanovic
Malaysia - Anwar Ibrahim
Sweden - Ulf Kristersson
Thailand - Prayut Chan-o-cha
Vanuatu - Ishmael Kalsakau
You actually used it this way in the other latin american presidents.
FYI in Eritrea the first part of the name is often treated as the formal/family name, so you should probably accept 'Isaias' for Isaias Afwerki.
