While most major American cities have a form of transit, only a few have all four - that is, buses, light rail, metro, and commuter rail. Which American cities have all four?
If a station is on the border of the city it counts
"Metro" is a controversial term. Details in comments
Metro is a controversial term. There are some light rail systems that effectively function as metro systems (or light metros) due to their extensive underground portions, which I have included. Those that have maybe just one station underground don't cut it.
Additionally, light rail for this quiz includes automated people movers, as they are effectively the same systems but applied to different contexts.
Nice quiz, but I agree that metro is a bit controversial. I think it might be better to include cities that have bus, either light or heavy rail, and commuter rail, just to avoid confusion. Seattle is definitively light rail and the system is called Link Light Rail so perhaps rewording the quiz could help.
I specifically included Seattle because its light rail system is so extensively underground, even if it is a light rail and not heavy rail system. I wouldn't have included a city like Portland or Dallas.
Great quiz, but I think Cambridge, MA might count as well because of Lechmere being just within city limits. I'm not sure if you consider all of the Green Line light rail though; much of the extension (including Lechmere) has a more metro-esque character.
