I dunno, I think the closest African country to Madagascar is Comoros, although not by much (398km vs 403km). Perhaps you mean the closest "mainland" African country etc. (While Mayotte is even closer to Madagascar than is Anjouan (Comoros), I guess France doesn't qualify as an African country.)
Isn't GINI an abbreviation, in which case inequality is the only thing that would work. Otherwise I guess your choice of word depends on if you are a glass is half full or half empty person.
wait, i swear when i tried putting it in the quiz it wouldnt let me have it because i spelt it albuquerque? and so i "corrected" my spelling for the comment to how the quiz spelt it? Did the quiz originally have it spelt wrong or am i going mad
It's a very nice compliment to say that Americans are master spellers, far more skilled at spelling than anyone else. But it's also false - we tend to be pretty bad at it.
Now, about non-Colombians trying to spell Barranquilla...
I speak Spanish as a second language, and I like Shakira! So I know Barranquilla! It's just a weird choice of answer since it... ya know, doesn't start with Q. Why not Queensland, Australia? Why not Quebec, Canada? Also, I was a competitor in, and won, many spelling bees as a child; I'm fairly well-educated... But it's true, most Americans can't spell, and many have to slow words down and "sound them out" like a child if asked to.
exactly, it doesn't start with Q (mosque), and kabba might actually be closer to the sound... hence why a quiz that says it's about one thing should stick to that theme! Q geography, Q answers!
So, is this a "Q" quiz, or...? Because half of the answers just contain the letter Q in them, but don't actually start with Q. That's kinda...an odd choice. The letter Q isn't THAT rare or unusual; you should've been able to create plenty of relevant questions & answers. I could make up several right now! I mean, Quebec City, or Quebec (Canadian province), Queensland (Australian province), Queens (New York City borough)...
It might be that the higher the number the more inequality but surely we can say that equality is being measured. And it still has a Q in it.
