Hey, if you accept "Godfather" and "Godfather 2" without "the", you shoud definitely accept "Dark Knight" too.

Top ten films based on what? Box office? Positive reviews? Critical acclaim? Twenty-something male favorites? When I didn't see Citizen Kane, Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, and so many other great films on the list, I knew it wasn't based on anything I would consider important.

Just cuz those are classics doesn't mean they're automatically top 10 material, everything on this list and what you mentioned are great films, this is merely a top 10 list and cannot include everything. I would argue that Goodfellas and A New Hope and/or Empire Strikes Back should be on here but it's still a legitimate list.
