I feel like you could shave off a minute or two to make this a little more challenging without making it a speed typing challenge. I think the total time for this quiz is close to my actual countries of the world time.

I do think less time would be better. I think a lot of us can do COTW in 8 minutes, so just the first letter could be done probably in 5. Still a wonderful quiz!

COTW is really easy because you can type the countries in any order you like. Here the quiz is a map quiz so you have to think accordingly to each country that is shown to you, which is a lot harder than you might think (nonetheless I completed the quiz in 7:42 while having completed COTW in around 8 minutes).

I finished at 7:10 around the same time as my COTW this is definitely a challenge and makes me want to brush up on my geography skills.

I finished this in 3:31 but COTW in 3:28. Crazy that it takes longer just to type one letter per country.

Idk what you guys are talking about lol, my COTW time is slightly above 8 minutes and I finished this in 3:50, I'm a slow typer, but not THAT slow.

Lots of people asking for less time on this one, but I thought it was pretty fair. I had a minute and a bit left when I finished, not rushing at all, but then I am a pretty heavy JetPunk user. Shortening it would probably put off people who (how shall I put this......?) choose not to allocate quite so much of their time to online geography quizzes.

It'd be interesting if the stats showed the average time taken by people who scored 100%.

Yeah, I agree, I am kinda shit at typing so i have to look at my keyboard and my screen back and forth. I didn't hesitate at all and finished with 1 minute and some seconds

On my phone the whole map is not visible at one time (even when not zoomed). Those calling for shorter time: please bear in mind people who have to spend time scrolling to be able to see the next country before they can answer it!

Timing was a little more lenient on this one. The others i got done with like 2 seconds to spare. This one i had a minute and a half. Consider dropping off 1 minute for consistency.

I don't know if it's just me, but Andorra isn't lighting up on its turn. Or at least, it isn't getting the circle and arrow pointing it out that the other smaller countries get.

Wow talk about a nailbiter. I had to do a lot of guesswork in the caribbean and polynesia, and it usually takes me at least a couple seconds to think of the country, even though I know where most of them are. Didn't think I was gonna succeed but got it with 10 seconds to spare. Probably my favorite quiz on the site - not a speed typing challenge at all and totally tests your knowledge of the world countries.

at the second attempt, by first zooming in to Europe and skipping through all the others, saves time clicking in and out of the map and text box.

Probably would have been better to skip past Europe and get them last for less skipping.

got it first time 8 seconds to go. I always cruise through these COTW quizzes without checking how much time you have to begin with then have to fly through the end 2 mins.

idk if anyone else experienced this, but i found that my fingers started pressing the correct key before my brain even processed what country I was looking at. i would still be naming the country in my head and id realize that I already typed the correct letter. crazy subconscious stuff
