- According to citiesjournal.com, obviously a subjective list, but because of the pictures, it's maybe doable. - The hint is a phrase they used to describe the city, as well as the continent its on. -I removed a few obscure ones that are too specific to guess, Kangbashi, China, Sumqayit, Azerbaijan, La Oroya, Peru, Battle Mountain, Nevada and the Dheisheh refugee camp in Palestine to be exact.

I don't know how Battle Mountain, Nevada has garnered any attention, its just very average. I would more expect a place like East St. Louis if you were to make a list of obscure places.
