Many of us know the areas but don't know these odd names. "Central Germany"?

Well, Central Germany is the official name of this particular metro area (or Mitteldeutschland in German, both answers will be accepted). I think it would be pointless to be able to enter the name of e.g. the biggest city in a metro area instead of the real metro name (like Cologne instead of Rhine-Ruhr or Mannheim instead of Rhine-Neckar).
