Hi! I’ve finally finished redesigning this quiz, which turned out to be much more complicated than the others.

I decided divide the country between Europe and Asia to adapt to the particular geography of this country, which is mostly empty in Siberia.

To avoid any unnecessary debates: the quiz only covers Russian territories recognized by the UN.

I only just parsed the question in my mind. The location is never mentioned in the movie, so it's odd that the marker is positioned in Siberia, which helped to throw me off (the movie was filmed in Estonia). Maybe turn it into "'The Zone': this mysterious location was the setting of this movie by Andrei Tarkovsky" or something similar.

The position is mostly here to fill the huge Siberian void. :)

This map will soon have a rework anyway, fitting the other quizzes in this series and correcting some wording (alongside some other modifications, I may change the Crimean questions to avoid any controversies).

In the Monuments section, "Description" is written as "Desctiption". For Battle of Stalingrad, the "Date" section says "WII" instead of "WWII".

The cross on the map doesnt fit the locatio of Stalingrad. Tried all sorts of things but nothing worked, as I was sure it wasnt Stalingrad, which is today named Volgograd and therefore has to bo much further south and on the Volga.

Amazing quiz, only a minor correction :)

You're right, the location is that of the Battle of Kulikovo. There were three battles to guess in the old version of the quiz, I removed one but made a mistake with the map.

I got battle on the ice because I was like, WHAT is this last country??? I then got North Korea (super obvious lol), but not before trying any random country in the arctic circle because y'know, while I'm thinking about countries next to Russia, I might as well try something else that might be right, so I tried Iceland and it accepted ice!!!
