I would have to say "na" is the word used the most in Beatles' songs. It clocks in at at least a trillion in Hey Jude.

Also the most popular reply in a JetPunk comments section.

Good point, though. Not sure why it's not included in the source.

A Beatles lyric being the most popular JetPunk comment on a Bible quiz: after all this time, it seems that John was right.

On a similar vein, are all the forms of Jude counted separately? I don't have the time to count it myself but I bet some form of the name has to be said at least 86 times in the 7 plus minutes.

I doubt it's over 86 with "Jude". It's said 7 times in the song, and the "na na na hey Jude" part apparently repeats about 19 times. Add in a some more from Paul's ad libs.

My guess regarding the "na"s is that the data searched official lyrics, and that whole end section probably wasn't written out, but rather only had the first line, with possibly a "repeat to fade" or "x19".

The fact that "Paul", "Died", "Car", "Accident", and "1966" aren't on here proves the Beatles intentionally hid the fact that Paul died in a car accident in 1966! ;)

I scored 66 and the real Paul died in 1966. I think I'm on to something...

Really enjoyed the quiz. Was nice singing back through the songs. :))

Cool. I wonder if this was done with AI/LLMs or good old fashioned programming prowess.

Edit: I could program something that would do this in high school, unfortunately those skills have atrophied.

The quiz is 5 years old and the article is older so I doubt it was AI.
