Here Ecuador is depicted in all other Jetpunk Quizzes with the islands off to the east but here you have it without the Galapagos islands off to the east you have all the other land based and island based countries separated by water why not this one. Ex Belize with its island

Partly to keep things centred and drawn at a good size to see, and partly because of the distance. I can't have the pen skip from one part of the screen to another, it has to travel there at the speed it draws. So you would get a small mainland Ecuador on the right, followed by a wait where it seemed like nothing was happening. With Belize the islands are close so it suits the quiz.

It's not true that Ecuador is depicted in all other JP quizzes with the Galapagos. See the Country Flag-Shape quizzes for example. Also the Galapagos are to the west ;)

These quizzes are a fun idea but not really viable with the current time limit. The drawings take so long and when the time limit is so short a significant percentage of your time is spent waiting for the drawing to become coherent.

Au contraire, I got all 16 with about thirty seconds left, even after waiting for several drawings to appear in full.

I think you just have to be both a fast typist and also good at recognizing the shapes
