I can't find a source that says sandals are usually made of leather with two straps. They come in all sorts of varieties. I'd call the pictured ones flip flops myself, generally for outdoor use, usually at the pool or beach. But they are called different things all over the world (thongs, sliders...) so I went with the catch-all sandals and allowed other type-ins. I've added slippers too :)
I tried both "Oxford" and "dress" for "brogues"; as far as I can tell both of these are correct.
"Sliders" for "sandals" - as these are specifically sliders, missing the typical leather straps of a sandal.
"Boat shoes" - this is just me cos I tried "loafers" and apparently loafers with laces is technically a boat shoe, but I find this to be a bit obscure, even if I'm technically incorrect.
