Not sure if your source shows it, but Perm also has over 1M residents

I noticed this too. Somehow from the source this year, Perm population is only 508K. It probably stops considering Krasnokamsk and other neighbouring suburbs as part of Perm.

The population of Perm in 2023 is 1,027,000 people. For a while, she flew out of the millionaires, but 508 thousand is crazy numbers, this has never happened. Keep in mind that in Russia the census does not include suburbs
