What's funny is that, although Esperanto is based on Romance languages, it used the English pronunciation of Mexico instead of the proper Spanish one. Or at least, whoever wrote the Wikipedia article did...

Also, can't Domingo stand for Dominica just as well as the Dominican Republic?

It's not really based on Romance languages - there's a good deal of all sorts in there, from Greek to English to Arabic.

I wrote Bahrein instead of Bahrain :c and I forgot Côte d'Ivoire too
