On Ugetsu monogatari, you have put the name of the person who wrote the stories, not the director of the film... Good quiz nevertheless!

i knew my deep ignorance of Ozu's cinema would curse me someday. May I suggest you accept "Bicycle Thief" (singular) for the De Sica movie. Wikipedia agrees with me ! How's that for an authoritative source !
