His presidency was certainly a mixed bag, but I think he was dealt a hard hand. No one in 2019 could have predicted a global pandemic, the Taliban's retakeover, and a conflict in Europe leading to surging prices would happen in the next 5 years. He tried as hard as he could with what he could and while I feel he should have stepped down way earlier than he did and the cover up of his health is incredibly concerning, he was overall a solid enough president (at least prior to 2023?). I hope he can recover well from the cancer!
Yeah, and sometimes I worry that Biden's legacy will be defined by his age and the fact that he temporarily prevented Trump from getting re-elected. Time will tell if history will be kinder to Biden but it'll be harder to talk about his presidency without those two big factors.
