Not sure why this any is any better tbh. Just seems harder to me. Also I think doing stuff like this sets a bad kind of precedent. If Quizmaster made the quiz himself, that’s one thing. But featuring user quizzes that have already been made by another user incentivizes copying and/or remaking quizzes in hopes of getting a feature. This also isn’t the first time I’ve noticed this happening to a sudden death quiz. It happened to the monarchies and languages ones, and I might be missing some more. It really isn’t that difficult for quiz makers to search if a quiz has already been made…
Some people don't really care, and others might not be aware of searching for an existing quiz. When I made my first account, I didn't really think of searching for quizzes that might have existed. I just made the quiz. Over time I realized this of course, and this user might have not thought to search. That's the most sensible reason.
In my opinion, both Roman Emperor SD quizzes are fine. However, it should be considered when the quizzes are first submitted. This user made this quiz a week ago, and got a Feature. tgig made his quiz in April, and it will now collect dust. This quiz is this user's only quiz, and this user has had an account for 11 years. Featuring this quiz seems odd to me, since Quizmaster has the ability to edit quizzes to his liking anyway. So, saying this quiz is better doesn't make sense to me. Idk if this user just didn't check to see if the quiz already existed or what, but it's a duplicate of an original either way.
The trick is that Quizmaster should have the ability to put quizzes in playlists. That way both quizzes could link to one another. This site's biggest issue is disorganization
Perhaps a solution is to feature the quiz quizmaster likes best, but to give a mention/credit to the person that did it first.
(I know he can edit quizzes to his liking but that is a lot of work to do if he has to do that for every featured quiz. And that does not seem fair to the 2nd user, that the first ones gets featured, but it is basicly the quiz of the 2nd person, just under the name of the 1st person.)
I know people are hungry for features on this site though (something I don't really get personally. For me credit for the original idea would be worth more. And I would say isn't it more important that it is like by the people that play it, rather than it is featured?
I'd rather make a quiz that people are happy about than a crappy one that gets a feature. But maybe that is just me.
(In reality I never get around to execute the great ideas I have haha)
Edit; with crappy quiz I was talking in general, not about the other roman emperors quiz
Nice quiz, you could make it so the quiz shuffels the position every retry. Otherwise it's possible to just remember the pattern without actually knowing the answers and get 100 percent.

In the end, my opinion doesn't matter.
