Hey! I wrote I am bored and It is sunny instead of "I'm bored" and "It's sunny" and it didn't accept it, I wouldn't complain but it accepted "It is foggy" when I wrote it, so it would be nice if you could program it to accept both forms (with and without contractions), thanks for your attention :)
Exactly! You accept contractions for: it's sunny, I'm bored and I don't know; but demand that write out I am lost, I am sorry and I am late. What's with the arbitrary inconsistencies?
It doesn't have to be literal, when you translate you have to choose between that and litterary translation, and most of the time litterary will win cause it's the one that makes more sense in the other language. You're most likely to hear a native english speaker say its sunny instead of there is sun, so you should do the same as well
The exact translation of "tu parles en français?" is "do you speak IN french?". If you want to ask "do you speak french?" you have to say "tu parles français?"
"tu parles en francais?" is asking someone who's currently speaking is the language they're using is french, if you mean what language the other person can seak, its gonna be "tu parles francais?"
Because "It's sunny" meant "C'est ensoleillé". The meaning is the same but it's not the exact traduction.
