Just a couple small things- the biggest airborne assault in history would have to be Operation Plunder, which was Monty's large bombing plans along the Rhine. And, also, at Kursk, the Soviets did not take the offensive, the Germans did. The Russians simply stopped the German drive.

No, it is Operation Market Garden. Airborne means paratroopers, not bombing.
