Liverpool does not even have half a million inhabitants, and with the urban area around it not even 900,000...

Wow, really surprised me. I tried typing in London. Didn't work. These must be really western cities.

The prime meridian runs right through London (Greenwich) by definition, so it sits at roughly 0 degrees East/West

Need a source for these. If you are defining Liverpool as >1m then so are Bristol and Cardiff.

Interesting that no source is provided. I hadn't noticed until you pointed that out.

Usually citypopulation.de is used as a source for this kind of quizzes. It gives (rounded to thousands, 2016 estimate):

Liverpool 1,652,000

Bristol 797,000

Cardiff 593,000

A few more cities that were far enough west but too small:

Edinburgh 701,000

Belfast 588,000

Did not expect Malaga to have more than 1 million inhabitants but perhaps this is due to its urban area. Took me a bit longer to guess this one.
