I think the coldest it has ever been in the UK is -28.

Don't forget that India has the Himalayas, and Italy has the Alps!

The lowest ever recorded temperature in Ireland was -19.1C. It is very rare that a daytime temperature would stay in the minus figures. Not a cold country at all!

Those countries are flat lands, despite averagely colder than some of the countries listed on, they never had an extreme record.

Britain and Ireland are both very temperate countries, partly due to the influence of the Gulf Stream (a warm sea current from the southwest) which is why we get very little in the way of extreme weather conditions :)

This seems to be split into 'northern' countries and mountainous countries.

Got everything except the USA. Please include Mongolia because it has a record low of around negative 50 degrees celsius.

I believe you might have missed some including Afghanistan, Armenia, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Austria and using this source there are some countries that technically should not be on this list.

That was a good quiz! but could you add Czechia for the Czech republic, it's allowed in pretty much every new quiz ,(although I don't know if the name Czechia was already a thing when you made the quiz) so I didn't thought of typing Czech republic

How did none of the Stan countries make it? They are quite mountainous I assume.
