nice! I wonder if the asian part of Russia should be listed under 'Asia', similarly to France in South America

I second that.

Well I was going to use the Ural Mountains as the border, but Asian Russia was too far away. But then if we use the Ural Mountains as the border, then Kazakhstan is partially in Europe. So I didn't really know what to do there.

"Akrotiri and Dhekelia" shares the border with Cyprus. It's not the part of the United Kingdom. It's a British Overseas Territory. Anyway, this quiz is about countries closest to London, not countries closest to UK.

Feel like Paris will have too similar answers to London, I'll make it in the future but in the meantime I'm going to do New York, Rio, Singapore, Istanbul, Tokyo and Johannesburg

Be nice if there was some consistency, I get that JetPunk insist on moving Cyprus to Asia (because it is no way a near European country), but if France is the nearest country in South America then Spain is one of the nearest countries in Africa through Ceuta and Melilla and France is 2nd nearest in North America via St Pierre & Miquelon.

I thought you meant London, Ontario. You should specify London, England in the instructions if that's you mean.

The bases in Cyprus, Akrotiri and Dhekelia are not quite the same as French Guyana. French Guyana is the same as if you were standing in France itself. France borders Germany just as it borders Brazil. Ceuta and Melilla are the same in that respect. They are the same as if you were standing on Spanish soil, but border Morocco. UK overseas territories are not quite the same as these three examples.
