The following are all in the 20 to 45 km bracket: Port-au-Prince, Amman, Vienna, Budapest, Ljubljana, Manama, Port-of-Spain, Maputo, Belmopan, Brussels, Santiago. Kuwait, Buenos Aires and Montevideo are further out again.

Excellent quiz. I also missed Rome, having guessed Vatican...

You could argue that Nicosia is on a de facto border. But probably correct to not include it as it isn't an offical border.
