We thought this was our coolest quiz (cue groans for a painful pun), but then we discovered from joez's Coldest Countries quiz that Iceland isn't the coldest country at all. It's not the 2nd coldest either. Or the 3rd coldest. Can't tell if you are joking... you are joking right?? The US is more like 3300 km away, more than 1000km further than spain, like 150% the distance of spain.

Morocco is even closer, or Bulgaria or Moldova (picked some spread out ones, because different people will get surprised by different countries)

For those asking about Andorra, The very top of Spain is being counted, it takes quite a distance to get to the south of Spain from the north.
