Start by naming any country that France borders. Then name any country that borders any of those countries. Then keep going until there are no more countries left to name.
I got this after 3 straight days of practice. My advice: try finishing up Europe, Asia, and Africa with at least 1:10 or 1:15 or so left. North and South America should be ideally finished in about 30-35 seconds. Australia + Oceania should be finished in less than 10 seconds. Remember the abbreviations too, like DPRK, ROK, ROC, PRC, PNG, NZ, DR, Congo, Car, FYROM, KSA. Those will save you so much time. Other than that, most of it was just muscle memory from practice. Glhf!
All of the "hard" countries first. I start with Caribbean+Central America, then Pacific + Indonesia, then Central Asia, all the african islands, then all the micronations in EU. This usually takes about a minute.
Minute 2 is all of africa + middle east
Minute 3 is everything else. Blitz through the rest of asia + EU, then speed through NA + SA with about 20 secs left. I managed to finish with 2 seconds left
Abbreviations I use - DR, NZ, PNG, CAR, DPRK, ROK, PRC, ROC, KSA, FYROM

tips:
turn on show missing countries, it really helps
try to get all the hard countries out of the way in the first minute, like marshall islands and equatorial guinea
use all the abbreviations
ROC, ROK, DPRK, CAR, USA, DR, UK, KSA, congo, NZ, UAE, FYROM
also i wouldn't use spaces
i personally use brasil instead of brazil since it's more convenient to type
good luck! :)
