It's my experience, at least in the American South, that Anglicans are known as Anglicans. My city of 175,000 has five Anglican churches, and a sixth called an "Anglican Catholic" church, (whatever that is). There are three Episcopal churches.

In the US I've found that any church calling itself "Anglican" may likely be part of the splinter Anglican Church of North America, not the Episcopal Church. That's just been my experience.

This is correct. Most Americans are very confused about this and think that our Anglicans are the same as British Anglicans, but that is not the case.
