It's funny you say it that way, as it's given him something of an existential crisis that most people tend to know that Tony Hawk is the world's most famous skateboarder, but many simply don't know what Tony Hawk looks like. He's had people see his full name, "Anthony Hawk" on official docs and asked him if he's related to Tony Hawk. He's been riding skateboards in public and asked if he thinks he's Tony Hawk or wants to be Tony Hawk. He's been transporting skateboards and had people ask, to his face, without any recognition, if Tony Hawk is present due to the number of skateboards. It's become as much a part of his legend at this point as his actual skateboarding.
Oddly enough, a good, profile shot of Tony Hawk is rarely used on the cover of his video games. There's 19 games with his name on it, and only two: American Wasteland and Project 8, where his face is prominently centered, even on Project 8, it's only half his face. With the pro skater games, his face tends to be partially obscured and the artwork focused on capturing his full body mid-skate. For a few games, such as stuff like Tony Hawk Ride and Tony Hawk Shred, he's either not on the cover or in silhouette. Even Tony Hawk Underground 2, when he is partially on the cover, in profile, but blended into the background, he's sharing the cover with Bam Margera. So, if you're not sure what either looks like, it might not even be clear who Tony Hawk is.
Simpsons Serena Williams looks a lot like LaBarbara Conrad. I figured it was some Futurama crossover thing yesno. (Although I did get it because of the tennis.)
PS for a second quiz you could use John Waters and Thomas Pynchon.
Tbf she looks nothing like Serena imo. If anything she looks more similar to Venus. I'm suprised how bad some of these are (Most of them are good though)
You're in luck! I did in fact make more. I have a whole series of them in my Pop Culture series: https://www.jetpunk.com/series/78622/ecs-pop-culture-quiz-set
As a testament to the animators, I don't watch the show, but I managed to score 15/16 based on legit similarities and context! And Stan Lee, which is what I missed, was good; if I were more of a Marvel fan, I'm sure I would have recognized the likeness immediately.
PS for a second quiz you could use John Waters and Thomas Pynchon.
and that is supposed to be Bono? The version on South Park looked like him.
