This has to be one of the most messed up songs...dude was totally going to cheat on his lady only to find out she had been planning to cheat on him first. Then come to find out they basically don't know anything about each other aside from the fact that they totally were going to cheat on each other with some stranger from a personal ad.

Big Reddit energy to over-anaylse a charming song like this lol. He doesn't know she likes cocktails and that she has fantasies about the dunes of the cape, not like he doesn't know her mother's name. Besides, he says it sounds kinda mean.
