Astonishing how much easier I find it to remember this cabinet of my teenage years than any recent one. Same thing with football line ups. It's partly that events of youth stick harder in the memory. I think it's also that although I read a lot of news on my phone now, I don't watch a nightly TV news programme and government ministers were all household names.
