Wrong I think. If you have ^ at least, which just counts the start. If you have it containing then maybe it can work, although a caveat or something would be appreciated
I don't know if there is any way to fix it, but you can get in a situation where you don't know if the answer is Vatican City, San Marino, Andorra or Monaco which means that you risk losing even with perfect play.
Yeah, I had a similar problem where both Argentina and Chile were answers. Once I selected Argentina, it highlighted Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay and Brazil. Peru was shown in black, which meant that either Bolivia or Chile could be an answer, but it was impossible to determine which. And don't get me started on the -stan countries, where almost all of them border almost all of the others.
Also, the overlapping zones are problematic. I got 11/12, but couldn't find the twelfth one. It was the Netherlands, which was in green, together with all of its neighbors, because Germany also was one of the answers. Once I typed in Germany, all of the Dutch neighbors turned green as well.
To be clear about my previous comment - All of Germany's neighbors are also neighbors of the Netherlands. So, when I typed in Germany, it highlighted the Netherlands and all of its neighbors, which made it impossible to see that the Netherlands was the final answer for the quiz.
